• 12th ACM Conference on Electronic Commerce (EC11)
  • Date: June 5-9, 2011
  • Where: San Jose, CA
  • Highlight-Overview: Since 1999 the ACM Special Interest Group on Electronic Commerce (SIGecom) has sponsored the leading scientific conference on advances in theory, systems, and applications for electronic commerce. The Twelfth ACM Conference on Electronic Commerce (EC'11) will feature invited speakers, paper presentations, workshops, and tutorials covering all areas of electronic commerce. The natural focus of the conference is on computer science issues, but the conference is interdisciplinary in nature.
  • The conference will be held from June 5 through June 9, 2011, in San Jose, California. Tutorials and Workshops will be held on June 5 and June 6. Accepted technical papers will be presented from June 7 through June 9, 2011.

• YAPC::Europe 2011 “Modern Perl”
  • Date: August 15-17, 2011
  • Where: Riga, Latvia
  • Highlight-Overview: For a few years YAPC::Europe includes three main days of talks and the days before and after the conference with additional activities.
  • This year the main conference days with talks will be 15–17 August. Attendance fee gives you the right to attend any talk during these three days, as well as the Attendees Dinner in the second day.
  • Additional programme includes the Perl 6 hackathon and a number of teaching classes. The hackaton is free of charge (Perl 6 addicts are very welcome to come). To attend the teaching classes you need to buy a separate ticket.
